I imagine all my hypothetical Republican voters feel a wee bit like how I did on this day in 2004. Part of me wants to be Eric Cartman and lick up your bitter tears but that wont help anything. Did you notice all the boos during McCain's concession speech last night when he talked about the new President? Did you hear any boos when President Obama (like that) mentioned McCain's name at his speech last night? That's right, there weren't any boos. Welcome to the new America! And for those of you praying harder for our supposed loss of your values or no sure they are coming for your guns or if you think we are to "reap what we sow" with some other scary economical/U.S. Surpreme court changing fear mongering you happen to adhere to then I can't help you. I know how you feel and so forth but I am not worried. I know things are not going to dramatically improve and the wars are not just going to end and the economy is not going to improve...And hell, in a couple of months I may be already writing bitchy blogs here about what President Obama isn't doing or what have you. It won't be perfect. But it cannot be any worse than it has been and it might possibly be great. So, sorry you are so dumb and/or bitter but for today, and just for today, Ya'all can just SUCK IT!!!!!
Tomorrow it's back to work, back to being just the one America we all live in and we all need to work to make it better. I have never felt this proud to be American before!!!

I just got a letter in the mail from the Obama campaign saying that I'm going to be a Muslim starting in January, and I'm supposed to send all my guns to some guy in Saudi Arabia or they will be taken forcibly by the soon-to-be-formed United States of Arab American Army in February.
